The Attica Historical Society was founded in November of 1937 by Marion Stevens. They used the original parlor of Judge Alden Stevens' house to store and display artifacts. In 1951, The Stevens family donated both the parlor and the land for an addition to the Attica Historical Society to be used as a museum. The Parlor was moved to its current site, facing Main Street. Later additions were made with the most recent one occurring in 1994. The museum is filled with a varied collection of objects that relate to the Attica area adn cover over a century of time. All the objects in the collection have been donated by local families and interested persons.

- The museum collections also includes dolls, toys, musical instruments, costuming, and many interesting and curious objects
- Many videos of local people and village residents
